Caroline Pemberton, 23, is a television presenter, speaker, model and a former Miss Australia who is so passionate about natural, real and inner beauty that she started her own company, Real Body Image - an educational program which promotes the importance of having a positive self body image and a healthy lifestyle.
Caroline speaks to her audiences about the pressures we all face today to have a "perfect" body, where those pressures come from and how they can affect our ability to love and accept ourselves for who we are as well as how they can jeopardise our health. Caroline reveals the processes that are used to "create" that manufactured "ideal" image that we see all around us on billboards, in magazines, on the television and online - from picking a model, to what goes into creating a photoshoot and how post production techniques are used.
Her message is clear, it's time to get realistic about what the world labels "beautiful", start to love ourselves for who we are and give up trying to aspire to something that isn't even real in the first place.
